Immediately on entering Barry Christian Church you will sense God’s presence. You are welcomed in a spirit of unconditional love and acceptance. You belong because you are valued. Here you can openly share your personal faith without fear of judgment. This safe haven is where you can have authentic and meaningful relationships, where the renewing and nurturing touch of the Spirit of God affects your life in a clear and powerful way. Here there is a hunger to know and serve God through the understanding of His Word, and our children are nourished in Christ’s teaching securing God’s kingdom for generations to come. You will find yourself willing to be used by God, to being sensitive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, and to embracing Jesus’ call to reach the lost and bring healing to the hurting. It’s a home where tradition connects each with the other, where hymns lift spirits, and where God’s Word sustains everyday lives. It’s where with all your heart you will work for the Lord and in doing so find yourself longing to do more.

No matter where you are in life’s cycle, young, not so young, married, single, whoever you are and wherever you are from, we’d love you to be amongst us. To be a beacon of God’s love in our world by fully honoring God in all that we do, humbly serving others however we are able and passionately seeking to grow and share our faith in Jesus Christ, together.

We at Barry Christian Church hunger to know and serve God as shown through the life of His son Jesus Christ whose spirit connects us in unconditional love. We are a refuge where all are warmly accepted as beloved children of God; and with profound gratitude we joyfully serve others through Christ who sustains us.

If you ask most anyone who attends Barry Christian Church why they attend they will most likely tell you it’s the friendliness, the connectedness one feels as soon as they enter. We are a caring, sharing, heartfelt family that loves the Lord and works together toward honoring God. On hearing God’s Word and putting it into practice we grow in grace and wisdom so we can spur one another on toward love and good deeds. We are a vibrant fellowship of believers who sing and laugh together, who pray together, who grieve together, who joyfully care for one another and pray for each other faithfully.
